Patrick Demarchelier

Patrick Demarchelier primarily takes images that are mid shots and monochrome. This adds identification to his images as he has chosen and stuck by his original theme for his images. The pictures which he takes look like pictures which belong on the front of a fashion magazine, which I why I chose to explore his pictures, to tie in with my music magazine. Some of the images are hard to focus on certain points due to the black. For example, on the top left hand picture, you are unable to see her eyes. However, you can tell that this is the photographers intentions and this this was not a mistake. This adds curiosity to his images as the audience is left wondering why he chose to make the image that dark.
